Man will never control earthquakes,
tsunamis or tornadoes. University
development cooperation focussing
on research and capacity building is
our key to disaster prevention, risk
assessment and efficient intervention
after calamities. As education shapes
tomorrow's scientists, education is
man's only way to cope with disasters.
Destruction or survival, make your
choice.
