Tsunami, Sri Lanka - Sometimes it is what you don’t see. On New Year’s
Eve 2004, five days after the tsunami, two health
professionals assess the situation as they walk along
a stretch of road where, on either side, a health clinic
and a school once stood. The tsunami claimed both
structures, leaving a vulnerable population without
access to health care.
