Santa Tecla, El Salvador -
The old San Rafael Hospital in Santa Tecla, El Salvador,
closed its doors in the 1920s, when it was preserved
as a historic building and national monument, and
a new hospital was built. However, after the 2001
earthquakes, it became a structural hazard and had
to be demolished.
