Wildebeest Arc | Nick Brandt
The wildebeest are the dominant inhabitant of the Masai Mara, and their numbers are estimated in the millions. Around July of each year these ungainly animals migrate in a vast ensemble north from the Serengeti plains in search of fresh pasture, and return to the south around October. The Great Migration is one of the most impressive natural events worldwide, involving an immensity of herbivores: some 1,300,000 Wildebeest, 360,000 Thomson’s Gazelle, and 191,000 Zebra. Massai Mara, Kenya. |

| The effects of climate change are felt first and foremost through water and it is poor people who suffer the most. Sustainable water management is crucial to improve livelihoods and reduce vulnerabilities to increasing climate variability. Swedish Water House connects and creates knowledge to support international policy advances in water and development. |

Conserve Water
Only switch your washing machine or dishwasher on when you have a full load; some machines have a half load setting but this setting uses more than half the water of a full load. |
